Heat Fastpitch Academy’s home facility is located in Newton, KS, just N. of the Wichita metro area. We also have teams based in Salina, Hutchinson, and Derby, and we’re continuing to expand. Unlike large organizations where you simply “buy the name,” our owners work directly with every player and coach, ensuring all of our teams receive the same high-level development and support. If you’re a coach or team looking to join a proven, family-focused program, we’d love to talk with you. Bring your team into the Heat Family and join our success.

Join the G2 Heat Fastpitch Academy Family

Eighteen years ago, Anthony and Victor founded G2 Heat Fastpitch Academy with a simple goal: to provide their daughters with an opportunity to compete, develop, and pursue their dreams through softball. What began as a single team quickly grew into one of Kansas' most respected fastpitch organizations, with teams competing throughout the state and athletes advancing to every level of collegiate softball.

Today, both owners are active college coaches with a combined decade of collegiate coaching experience. They continue to work college showcase camps, recruiting events, and tournaments across the country, building relationships with coaches and programs nationwide. Those relationships provide our athletes and families with valuable recruiting guidance and exposure throughout their softball journey.

**Whether you join the Heat Family or not, parents and players really need to be vetting or verifying the teams and coaches they are playing for!!  There are too many teams, organizations, and coaches out there talking about how they are going to help get your recruited when they have never done it themselves. Some organizations use the "National" teams success to pull in parents and players but don't realize the team they are joining doesn't hav that type of success or experience in working through the college recruiting process!!

You should ask:

1. Have you personally put any player into college and helped them directly get a scholarship?

2. How many athletes have you helped get into college from YOUR team? And what levels have they gone too? NCAA NAIA JUCO??

3. Does your team or organization actually help with recruiting and do you know the rules of when they can talk to you? Do you know college coaches and do you talk to them about your players? Or do you just take your teams to showcases and leave it up to the parents and players. A lot of them do this.

4. How do you know college coaches? Do coaches call you and ask about your players or other players from the area?

Just playing in showcases doesn't mean you will get seen. Playing in a lot of local showcases will not help your recruiting when a lot of KS coaches leave the state to go recruit out of state. How are you going to get seen or get in front of KS Coaches or any coaches if you do not know where they are going? It is more than just picking showcases and camps to attend.

Ask teams these questions. Get answers before you join!!!

What We Offer Coaches

At G2 Heat, we believe coaches should spend their time developing athletes—not managing paperwork and administrative tasks.

Organizational Support

We handle many of the day-to-day administrative responsibilities, including registrations, payments, organizational processes, and operational support, allowing coaches to focus on player development and team success.

Mentorship & Collaboration

Our coaches work together as one organization. We are not a collection of independent teams—we are one family committed to helping every team, coach, and athlete succeed. Coaches have access to the experience and knowledge of our ownership group and coaching staff throughout the year.

Off-Season Development

We provide off-season training opportunities where coaches, instructors, and athletes work together to prepare for the upcoming season. Current and former collegiate athletes frequently return to assist with training, mentorship, and skill development.

Recruiting Guidance

As active college coaches and recruiters, we help our teams navigate the recruiting process. We assist coaches in selecting the most appropriate showcases, camps, and recruiting events based on player goals and skill levels.

Team Support Services

• Tournament selection assistance
• Tournament registration and payment management
• Uniform ordering and coordination
• Team store setup and management
• Fundraising support
• Equipment purchasing assistance
• Ongoing organizational guidance and resources

When you join G2 Heat, you're not simply adding a name to your jersey. You're joining an organization committed to developing athletes, supporting coaches, and helping families navigate the path to the next level.

If you are interested in becoming part of the G2 Heat Fastpitch Academy family, we would welcome the opportunity to sit down with you, discuss your goals, and explore how we can work together to continue building a legacy of success.
